Today I went to Bandung Hobbies Festival in Graha Manggala Siliwangi to visit A's booth there (not his, of course, but his workplace's). Their booth has the demo version of Angkot the Game. The gameplay is quite simple, but what makes it more fun is that instead of using a joystick, mouse, or keyboard, it uses perceptual camera as the controller for the vehicle. It is like this: you move your hands in circle in front of the camera, as if you are actually driving but with an invisible steering wheel. Their booth is crowded. People queue to try this game.
The other booths have various features, but mostly action figure exhibitions. There are also manga drawing clubs, zombie lovers, cosplay players, diecast die-hard fans, and the one that caught my eyes the most: the Star Wars exhibitions.

I've been a little sick for the past couple days. I don't want to blame it on anything, but maybe I'm just a little hard to myself. I should start writing my final paper, but I don't. I should start chasing after my supervisors, but I don't. I should start looking for a way to tell my mum about something important, but I don't. All I've been doing is thinking, thinking, and thinking. All thinking and no action at all. I don't even go out to enjoy the sun; I just sit around at home and think.
Then I start wondering why I stop using this blog as a getaway like I used to do all the time. I used to find blogging as an escape from the burden of the real life. Well, you know... reading all those blogs about how awesome people's lives are could lift up my spirit a little bit, and then after hours of blogwalking, I would get myself on my feet again and chase my dreams. Oh how simple life was.
I fully realise that this post is totally nonsensical. I'm just rambling here.

I already cracked up right on the very first sentence of this book. I'm 99% sure that John Green is a wizard. He creates magic in all his books (or at least in the ones I've read). This book was written collaboratively with David Levithan, who also co-wrote Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, which is one of my favourtite young adult novels. So, magic + magic = mindblown me. This book is a double strike.
The major theme of this book is homosexuality in teenagers. Unlike other books I've read which have similar theme, Will Grayson, Will Grayson explains it in a lighter way. Also, I love how it depicts the friendship between two boys. Being a girl, I'm always kind of curious about boys' friendship. This book lets me know that boys' friendship can also be cute. Hahahaha ;)
Have you read Will Grayson, Will Grayson? What do you think about it?

I've been back in Bandung since Saturday morning, but somehow I didn't have the passion to connect my laptop to the internet and come back to the blogosphere. Right now I have 100 unread posts on my Bloglovin dashboard with no idea how to read them all before I get another unread post. You blogger ladies surely have such high creativity that I don't *sigh*.
Anyways, I only got to spend like five days in my grandma's house Eid week this year. I spend less and less days every year, which is sad. I remember that when I was about 7 or 8, my family used to spend the whole Ramadhan there. Changes are inevitable.
But, I'm going to go back to Lampung at the end of August to attend my cousin's wedding, so it's kinda okay.
If you really read the title of this post, you might have (or might have not) expect a post with a kind of life update or something. Well, I did intend to do that, but now I don't think I want to do that anymore. And I don't have the energy(?) to change the title. But here's a picture of my sister and Bill watching anime:

Hi, people! I'm taking a break from the blogging world during the Eid week because I'm spending it at my grannie's place, where a fast internet connection is a fancy thing I can't afford. Well not really, but still...
I'll be back to (not-so-)regular blogging around next week. You can still follow my Twitter and Instagram account (@darlaoct) to catch up with me.
See you next week and Eid mubarak, y'all!
PS. My Twitter account is on private. You can request to follow and mention me so I can accept you.
