I've been holding on to this word, someday, so hard that my knuckles start to get numb.

There are only seven days in a week—and someday isn't one of them.

Someday. That's a dangerous word. It's really just a code for 'never'.
(Knight and Day)

Someday I will understand
In God's whole plan
And what he's done to me
(Britney Spears)

Or not.

  7. Someday is generally a very dangerous word unless it spurs you on to make definite plans to change your future. Someday does help you dream what you'd rather be doing in life than what you are doing, which can spur you on to make necessary changes. It's when someday stays just a dream that it gets to be a dangerous word.
